After trying out all of these apps, my favorite apps are Coin Stats and Crypto Pro. Here’s a full list of the best free apps for tracking the price of cryptocurrency on your iPhone.
Here’s a list of the best crypto price tracker apps for IOS. In this article, I’ll review each app and go over the features that set them all apart. Find out which crypto price tracker app is right for you.
List of the best #IOS #crypto price tracker apps Click To TweetI have tried a few other popular apps like Blockfolio and Delta Crypto Portfolio Tracker. Those apps weren’t as easy to use as the apps in this list.
I found Delta to be too simplistic and hard to navigate. Blockfolio didn’t have nearly as many features as the apps listed here. For those reasons, I left them off of this list. However, feel free to try them out for yourself.
Best Crypto Price Trackers for IOS
If you’re using an iPhone and looking for crypto price tracker apps, this is the list for you. This list is in order from highest to lowest rating on the App Store.
Personally, I’ve been using Coin Stats for the past year – it has everything I need. Coin Stats delivers live trading information, daily, monthly and yearly charts; along with custom price, market cap, and volume alerts.
CoinCap
Starting off with the highest rated cryptocurrency tracker app for IOS – CoinCap. CoinCap has over 41,000 reviews and a 4.7-star rating.
As for features, CoinCap allows you to view a coin’s stats such as live price, market cap, and 24-hour volume. In addition, add multiple coins to three different “Altfolios”. Your Altfolio will give you the live value of all of your holdings in each.
After trying out the app I did notice a 1-3 second lag when changing settings and switching screens/tabs. As for usability, the app works very well for what it’s designed for.
Below are some screenshots of the CoinCap app – showing examples of the coin stats and Altfolio views.
Main Screen
On the main screen of the app, you’ll have a list of cryptocurrencies in order by the total market cap by default. Though, you can also sort coins by name, price, percentage change, trading volume, and supply.

From there, search for and click any cryptocurrency to add it to your Altfolio. In case you already have the coin added, you’ll be asked to subtract or add to your total holdings.
Altfolio
CoinCap refers to its crypto portfolio tracker as an Altfolio. To access your Altfolios, click the three bars on the top right corner of the home screen and click “My Altfolios”. There you can manage three separate Altfolios. Additionally, you can edit the names of these Altfolios inside the app settings.
Coin Stats
One of the best crypto price tracker apps for IOS and Android is Coin Stats. Coin Stats has a 4.7-star rating and over 35,000 reviews. This app has it all; a portfolio, price alerts, and even a news tab. All while maintaining a minimalistic interface.
Main Screen
Much like CoinCap, the main screen on Coin Stats lists all cryptocurrencies ordered by market cap by default. However, you can also order by things like “small cap, high volume”, “highest volume”, “1-week winners”, or create a custom sort method.
Coin Stats
From the main screen, search for any cryptocurrency and click on it to view the coin stats. On the coin stats page, you’ll see the coin price, market cap, 24-hour volume, supply, and percentage changes.

Portfolio
Coin Stat has an easy to use crypto portfolio tracker built-in.

News
One of the features that really sets Coin Stats apart from other crypto price tracking apps, is the news tab. By clicking the “+” button in the upper-left hand corner, you can manage your news feed.
In the news source manager, add a subreddit URL or any other RSS feed to your list of news sources. For WordPress blogs, simply add “feed” to the end of the URL (for instance: https://xrpontop.com/feed).
HODL
HODL app offers a bit of a different experience for tracking crypto prices. For one thing, there’s only one tab. After loading the app, you’ll see a list of cryptocurrencies with a live graph on the bottom.

After selecting a cryptocurrency from the list, the graph will update to display that currencies price stats. On the graph, choose to display the hour, day, week, month, 3-month or year chart.
Keep track of your #cryptocurrency using HODL for IOS Click To TweetPortfolio
Open the HODL crypto portfolio tracker screen by clicking the “Portfolio” text in the upper left-hand corner of the main screen. Now, to add a cryptocurrency to your portfolio, click the “+” button.
After selecting the currency you wish to add, choose the currency to track with. For instance, I chose “Market Aggregate USD”. Then, after clicking done, enter your amount of XRP and your purchase price.
The HODL Portfolio screen lists your units, total gain, purchase price, and value.
Crypto Pro
I found Crypto Pro to be a very professionally made cryptocurrency price
As other crypto price tracker apps have the ability to sort by market cap, name, or current price; Crypto Pro takes it a bit further. Crypto Pro gives you the option to display a specific exchange’s coin stats or the global average stats from the main screen.
Alerts
Using the Alerts tab, add alerts for any cryptocurrency to notify you on change of price or percentage increase or decrease. What’s more, Crypto Pro allows you to base alerts on the global average or a specific exchange of your choosing.
Add a Cryptocurrency Price Check Command for Siri
Have you ever wanted to ask Siri the price of a cryptocurrency? Crypto Pro gives you the ability to do that. After saying the command, Siri will give you the current price and even show the price graph.
From the Cryptos screen, select the currency to add the Siri price check command for. Now, from the coin’s stat page, click the three dot icon in the upper right-hand corner. Then, select “Add Siri Shortcut”. Now you have something new to annoy impress friends and family with.
News
Much like the Coin Stats app, Crypto Pro has a News tab. However, instead of giving you the option of adding custom feed URL’s, you’re required to select from a drop-down of different cryptocurrencies.
Crypto Tracker
Coming in last but not falling short of features is Crypto Tracker for IOS. Out of over 16,000 reviews, it maintains a strong 4.7-star rating in the App Store.
This crypto price tracker app is great for setting alerts and keeping track of your crypto portfolio.
Main Screen
When compared to other crypto price tracker apps, the main screen of Crypto Tracker looks a bit overcrowded to me. On the main screen you have two tabs for your watch list and all coins list.
Something to note, the free version can get a bit annoying. I actually thought about upgrading just to get rid of some of these annoyances. For instance, the blaring yellow upgrade button in the middle of the main screen and random ad popups.
If you can live with those annoyances, you’ll find the app to be quite useful. Underneath the shortcuts area of the main screen, you’ll find a list of saved screeners.
Shortcuts and Saved Screeners

As shown above, Crypto Tracker gives you shortcuts buttons to connect an exchange, a cryptocurrency conversion tool, and some chart reading learning material. By connecting your exchange, your cryptocurrency amount and value will be shown in your portfolio.
The Crypto Tracker app’s Saved Screeners are incredibly useful if you’re a day trader looking at % gainers/losers, or someone that constantly checks the market cap leaderboard. You can also find these screeners on the developer’s website bitscreener.com.

Portfolio
Out of all crypto price tracking apps for IOS, I found this crypto portfolio tracker to be my favorite. For one, at the top of the screen, there’s a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and all-time chart of your cryptocurrency totals.

Then, you have a list of your cryptocurrencies, each with the total amount, live price, and total value calculated.
Alerts
Crypto Tracker has a very thorough alert management system. On the Alerts tab, setup reoccurring price alerts, pump and dump alerts, market cap alerts and 24-hour volume alerts.
Cryptocurrency Pump and Dump Alerts
Pump and Dump Alerts will notify you when the price increases or decreases whatever percentage you set for any time range you choose (hour, 24-hour, week or month).
Conclusion
As you can see here, there are a lot of crypto price tracker apps to choose from. After going over the features that set each app apart, you should now know which app works best for you.
